Beyond the Book
This site is primarily for those who purchase my book "Effective Document and Data Management" due for publication around July 2012. It complements the book's coverage by providing supplementary information, on-going updates, copies of some of the figures and links to Web sites and pages including system, software and service suppliers. Web link references in the book's Bibliography are reviewed to identify any changes that need to be made. Not got the Book?
The 3rd edition, available as a printed book (isbn: 978-1-4094-2328-7) or ebook (isbn: 978-1-4094-4625-5), is thoroughly updated and draws on the author's experience in the information world across a range of commercial and government organisations in the UK or abroad, much undertaken under the Cura Consortium banner. The book is expanded to cover the management of structured and unstructured information from organizational, information life cycle and project perspectives, supported by numerous figures and worked examples. It is divided into the following 9 chapters:
Part 1: CONTEXT
Part 2: THE INFORMATION LIFE CYCLE
Part 3: PROJECTS
Who is the book aimed at?
